Founded in 2007 by a group of leading jewelers and diamond dealers, members of the Antwerp Diamond Clubs and Bourses, the INTERNATIONAL WEB JEWELER ASSOCIATION primary role is to protect the interests of the public, going to the web.
The idea started from this very simple question on how to use the Internet for promoting and distributing top jewelery and guarantee the public that they have selected trustworthy shops..
The member of our Association were all strictly selected on a wide range of ethical criteria: They all have a reputable, long-range trade history and of course... present their products on the web.
The IWJA has a triple role:
Toward the Web Users:
To supply information and a label of guarantee of the seriousness and reputation of the jewelers.
To give information about what to look and what to know when buying real jewelery on the web.
Reassure him about safety and trustworthiness of its members web shops.
Toward the Jewelers:
Encourage Best Business practices among web-jewellers
To assist them in web marketing their goods.
To advise them on the evolution of e-commerce with regards to jewelery business.
To defend the members reputation.
Conflict Resolution:
In case of litigation, parties could call upon IWJA Board of Moderators, in order to find settlement to their dispute. The Board's role is to act as a neutral consulting body to solve the conflicting situation
